Our largest YAM at WAM crew ever! Thank you to these fantastic volunteers (and cookie baker Marissa Fortugno) for making Youth Art Month's return to Worcester possible. Wielding their thumb saving wooden mallets the group totally made the exhibit hanging possible. Thanks also to Ms. Zell for her work on the planning committee! WB rocks the arts 🎨!

Art 2 Homework/Research assignment due February 5, 2015

You will be producing a drawing that has at least two different textures in it.
You must work from observation and therefore need to have objects to work from.
****HOMEWORK FOR FEBRUARY 5, 2015 is to bring in objects!!!

1. Option 1   Take one object and draw it just as it looks but substitute a second
texture for part of the real texture  (example, a stuffed animal with a bow make
out of brick texture)  You would bring in a brick and a stuffed animal so that
   you can observe the textures.

2.      Option 2   An individualized still life set up.  Bring in two or three objects that you can draw together.  The objects should have different textures.  (for example a candle and a wooden sign).

3.  Option 3  Draw the still-life set up that will be set up by your teacher.
